Osborne House
Victoria and Albert had an incredible relationship, they were known to gift each other with sensual statues, many of which are in the house, their relationship, as evidenced by their many children was a loving one.
Hardwick Hall
Hardwick Hall, owned by Bess of Hardwick was always a big favorite of mine and most especially the Blue Room, what young history loving girl wouldn't want a room like this one?
Chatsworth House
Home of the Dukes of Devonshire is one of England's true historic gems.
We picnicked as children beside the waterfall. Going to Chatsworth was an annual treat!
